Weaving local welfare and environmental work into a trustworthy public-interest platform

Korea Green Foundation for the Disabled, Daegu-Gyeongbuk · Non-profit website · 2026

A local public-interest website connecting disability rights, independence, health and care, and environmental and giving activities to real news and ways to take part.

Challenge

The site had to explain a broad range of activities — disability rights and independence, health and care, environmental action and local giving — within one organization's identity. First-time visitors needed to trust its public value and local work and move naturally to news, donation, volunteering or partnership.

Approach

About, programmes, activity news, get involved and contact became purpose-based navigation. So the message doesn't stay declarative, real field photos, figures and recent activity lead the page, and the responsive design keeps the same information hierarchy on desktop and mobile.

Key decisions

  • Conveying public value and local roots at once — Stating the foundation's legal status and ESG direction, the first screen also shows real activity photos and news from the Daegu-Gyeongbuk field.
  • Connecting business and records — The three programme pillars — independence, health and environment — are linked to activity news, so people see what the organization actually does rather than what it says.
  • Participation paths anyone can find — We provide search, phone, text resizing and quick menus, and give donation, volunteering, partnership and inquiries their own paths.

Result

We brought the organization's mission, programmes and field results into one public-interest content platform — an official digital base where local members can understand and take part in its work.
